What does Sailove actually handle?
Sailove takes care of the full trip setup: finding the right yacht, arranging the booking, building a sensible itinerary, coordinating logistics, and providing support before and during the trip. You choose the vibe and preferences, we organize the rest.
Where do the yachts come from? Are they reliable?
Yachts come from multiple trusted charter companies. We match the yacht to your requirements (type, size, layout, comfort level, budget) and confirm availability and charter terms before you commit.
Do I need sailing experience or a license?
No. Most guests sail with a professional skipper/captain. If you’re experienced and want to skipper yourself, we’ll advise what’s possible based on the destination and charter requirements.
Who will be the captain? Can I request a specific skipper or Sailove’s founder?
Typically, we provide one of our vetted skippers/captains. You can request a specific skipper (subject to availability). On special request, Sailove’s founder can join as captain as well, depending on the dates and trip plan.
Can I customize everything (route, yacht, crew, comfort level)?
Yes—this is what we’re built for. You can choose the destination, dates, yacht type (catamaran/monohull), number of cabins, standard, budget, trip pace, and preferences for the crew. We’ll propose the best options and finalize the setup with you.
What’s included in the price and how do payments work?
Pricing depends on season, yacht type/standard, itinerary, and whether you add a skipper or extra services. We typically break costs down clearly (yacht charter, skipper/crew if needed, marina fees, fuel, and optional extras). You’ll receive a transparent summary before booking, and payments follow the charter company’s schedule and terms.
